Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing new features, releases, and improvements built by the product team, ensuring that they meet established quality standards. The QA Engineer will also work closely with the product manager to assist in implementing our financial software solutions. In addition, the QA Engineer will be responsible for writing documentation to support implementation and training efforts. You will have the opportunity to become a key member of the team, proactively participating in retrospectives and discussions and giving constructive feedback to improve our product and development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of new features, releases, and improvements built by the product team
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaborate with product developers to identify and report defects
- Provide feedback on product features and capabilities
- Assist in onboarding clients to use our financial software solutions
- Maintaining user documentation and guides
- Be part of the scrum team, working closely with development/product stakeholders to coordinate efforts
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for end-to-end testing of software applications
- Regression testing before product releases
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business and computing, information technology, or a related field would be considered a plus
- Working knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools
- Experience testing layout and interface usability
- Good knowledge of agile software development
- Understanding of code version control concepts
- Experience with finance and accounting will be considered a plus
- Technical skills, including knowledge of SQL and other programming languages will be considered a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment
